  • Dan & Rachael Brinkman

    Dan and Rachael have been competing in dock diving regularly since 2009. They’ve played with all organizations, in multiple states, all over the country. They’ve set 19 world records collectively in 5 different organizations, and were inducted into Guinness World Records in 2019. They’ve also won multiple championships, and taken podium in all disciplines, with multiple dogs, at every championship they’ve attended. In 2016 they started a dock diving club in Michigan, holding fun jump competitions, and getting local people involved in the sport. In 2018 they opened their own dock diving facility, as part of their behavior modification dog training business, where they hold classes, private lessons, seminars, and competitions.

  • Russell & Angie Rex

    Russell and Angie play competitively in several dog sports including flyball, dock diving and disc. Russell has trained dogs in various disciplines for over 35 years. He began has journey in the world of dog training at the age of 10 in 4H. His biggest accomplishment in 4H was Novice A State Champion at the Ohio State Fair. He has competed in flyball for over 20 years, and has earned the Hobbes Award, Region One MVP, two time top points earner of the year, and 2017 Division 7 UFLI Championships. He and Angie have been dock diving competitively for 5 years, and won the 2021 NADD Elite Division National Championships with their dog Carnage. Together they started Flying Carnage Dock Diving at their Winery/Brewery in 2022.

  • Jay Nichols

    Jay Nichols has a background in K9 Search and Rescue, and is an Urban and Wilderness Handler. He’s also trained in Obedience, Situational Coaching, Sports Conditioning, and Swift Water River Rescue. His dog sport journey started in Billings, MT training and competing in multiple dock organizations. Jay moved to Myakka City, FL and opened Florida K9 Sports on 5 aces of paradise in March 2022. He also owns a mobile dock, which his team travels and hosts events in areas other than his home base.

  • Maria LaCombe

    Maria started her dock diving journey with her GSD/pitbull mix Torque in 2015. Since then, Maria has gotten involved with her other dogs, competed all over the country in multiple organizations, and attended several national championships. Maria was introduced to this crazy dog world through rescue work, and eventually got into dog training. Nothing brings her more joy than playing with her dogs, and seeing them have fun! After getting involved in the sport, she dove in feet first, getting involved with getting a dock diving club off the ground in Michigan. Since then, she has been an integral member of the dock diving community in Michigan, hosting regular club practices and getting more people in the community involved in the sport she loves.
